Service Manager – Supported Living/Adults Learning Disabilities – Sheffield - £32,301

Bright Selection Ltd are delighted to represent a third sector care provider in sourcing a Service Managers (Supported Living/Learning Disabilities) in and around the Sheffield area.

My client is an established and pioneering third sector provider that offers support services for disabled and disadvantaged people. They operate services throughout the UK, supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs, Physical Disabilities and Homeless people. The appointed person will be responsible for a number of Supported Living services across the area, so a car driver is essential.

The main types of services that my client offers are Supported Living, Outreach, Shared Lives and Positive behavioural support. You will be responsible for developing and delivering flexible and personalised support that meets the needs and aspirations of individuals living in their own homes. In addition, you will also need to demonstrate a good all round working knowledge of current CQC legislation and housing-related support as well as a sound knowledge of budgets and time management.

In order to apply, you will:-

•   Be experienced in all aspects of the Learning Disabilities Client Group as well as Supported Living
•   Have managerial experience
•   Have strong leadership skills
•   Have full and up to date knowledge of CQC legislation
•   Hold RMA/RNLD/NVQ4/Diploma 5 – desirable
•   Be a car driver

These are both full time, permanent posts paying up to £31,310 plus £1,000 car allowance.
