The Madog Care Home is a purpose built, well established, 44 bedroom (including 3 double rooms) residential, nursing & dementia care home.

• There are 44 bedrooms all ensuite with lift access to every room. All the bedrooms modern and well furnished

• They encourage residents and their families to bring personal items and furniture with them

• Food is freshly prepared daily by the cook and her team using fresh local produce and is available all day

• Residents have a choice of eating in the dining room or taking their meal in their room

• There are are two lounges, a conservatory, a dining room and beauty salon

• Free wi-fi access is available through-out the home

• Care workers operate on high staffing levels to ensure they can meet the needs of the residents

• There is a Manager and/or Registered Nurse on the premises 24/7

• Owners carry out a thorough recruitment process to ensure all staff are knowledgeable, competent and caring

• All staff receive regular supervisions and appraisals from the Manager, Nursing Manager or a senior member of staff.

• All relevant staff have received or are scheduled to receive dementia awareness training. Many of the staff are local and many are fluent in both Welsh and English

Visitors are welcome at the home at all times. Gwen, Louise or the nurse in charge is available to discuss any concerns or queries you may have. The home actively supports visiting as contact with friends and family plays an important part in residents’ well-being.
